According to The Sun: Serbian footballer Nikola Milenkovic was preparing for his debut match under Ange Postecoglou at Nottingham Forest, chatting with fans of the England team during the flight in economy class.

While England returned from Belgrade on a private jet, Milenkovic opted for Air Serbia flight departing at 12:30 to Heathrow. He walked past England fans in business class before taking a seat at the back of the plane.

Milenkovic, chatting with recognizable 'Forest' fans, will return to training tomorrow ahead of Postecoglou's match against Arsenal on Saturday, following the sacking of Nuno Espírito Santo. One fan remarked:

“He was talking about the game, but I didn't dare ask him about Ange or about Nuno's sacking.”

Milenkovic's Prospects

Before Tuesday's defeat, Serbia coach Dragan Stojković stated that Milenkovic, signed for 12 million pounds from Fiorentina in 2024, would soon move to a 'bigger' club. However, his red card highlighted the challenges of football at the highest level.

As for the match itself, England players were targeted by a laser during the game. This particularly concerned Aston Villa defender Ezri Konsa, who started the match playing central defense. After the incident involving Konsa, referee Clément Turpin halted the match and consulted with his assistant.

Other unpleasant incidents also occurred in the match: riot police hurried to the sector of Serbian fans, where clashes broke out between groups of local ultras. Shouts were aimed at President Aleksandar Vučić. Police quickly intervened to calm the situation, and children were evacuated from the danger zone.

ITV correspondent on the field, Gabriel Clarke, reported that the incident lasted several minutes, causing some concern.
