The government launches light assistance for frontline communities: who will receive up to 1300 hryvnias.
Assistance program for residents of frontline regions
According to inkorr.com: The Ministry of Community and Territorial Development of Ukraine is starting a new initiative aimed at supporting residents of areas located near the front line. The main goal of the program is to provide financial assistance for electricity payments to families living in combat zones and receiving housing subsidies.
This program provides for an additional 100 kilowatt-hours of electricity per family member for residents of regions where military actions are ongoing or may occur.
Conditions for receiving assistance
Financial assistance will be provided from the state budget under certain conditions, including the presence of combat actions in the territory, eligibility for benefits or subsidies for utilities, and the status of the territories themselves.
- The maximum amount of support will be up to 300 kilowatt-hours per household.
- The amount of payments: 432 UAH per person and up to 1,296 UAH per household.
It should be noted that this assistance does not cover electricity expenses exceeding the established limit, so in case of unpaid bills, debts may accumulate.
Previously, it was reported that some Ukrainians may pay only 1.32 UAH per kilowatt-hour.
Thanks to this program, families living in combat zones and eligible for housing subsidies will be able to receive additional support to cover electricity expenses up to 300 kilowatt-hours per household and up to 100 kilowatt-hours per family member.
The assistance program is aimed at residents of frontline regions, who often face difficulties due to combat actions. It aims to ease the financial burden on families trying to meet basic needs in such challenging conditions. Providing additional kilowatt-hours of electricity can significantly help ensure comfortable living conditions in wartime.Read also
