Banks in Ukraine, including PrivatBank, can independently decide to terminate service to clients without their consent. This most often occurs if clients do not use the bank's services for a long time. Termination of the contract is based on important laws, such as the Civil Code and legislation on combating money laundering and financing of terrorism. Such measures are aimed at maintaining financial security and stability in the country.

After the contract is terminated, the client has the right to withdraw their funds by transferring them to another bank. As stated on PrivatBank's official website, to do this, one must visit any branch, provide the account details of the other bank, show a passport or another document that identifies them, as well as documents that confirm their right to the money. The client must submit their tax number and write an application for the transfer of funds.
