PrivatBank and the Pension Fund implement the 'eOselya' program
PrivatBank has signed an agreement with the Pension Fund of Ukraine to implement a compensation mechanism under the 'eOselya' program. This will provide internally displaced persons and residents of frontline areas with substantial support when obtaining a mortgage loan, as stated in the bank's press release.Conditions of the 'eOselya' program
- 70% compensation of the mortgage down payment (provided that the advance does not exceed 30% of the housing price);
- 70% reimbursement of monthly payments during the first year of lending (but no more than 150 thousand UAH per year);
- compensation for auxiliary costs up to 40 thousand UAH - commissions, fees, and insurance payments.
“In practice, this means that the state covers 70% of the down payment for real estate up to 2 million UAH. Therefore, the first payment will be approximately 180 thousand UAH, and the monthly payment in the first year will be up to 4 thousand UAH. As a result, Ukrainians who did not have enough savings will be able to purchase housing on favorable terms,” explained Dmytro Musienko, a member of the PrivatBank Management Board for retail business.The right to compensation will be granted to internally displaced persons and residents of frontline regions who do not own housing, except for apartments located in areas of active hostilities or in temporarily occupied zones. The housing price must not exceed 2 million UAH.To receive compensation, you must submit an application via the 'Diia' app, choose PrivatBank for mortgage processing and provide the necessary documents. The Pension Fund will verify the information and make a decision on compensation.
Lending Conditions
- for IDPs - a rate of 7%;
- for military personnel, medical workers, teachers, scientists, and security sector representatives registered in frontline areas - 3%;
- for other residents of frontline regions - 7%.
