Appointment of the Minister of Unity, riots in Seoul. Main news for December 3.
Riots broke out in Seoul after the President of South Korea declared a state of emergency against 'anti-state forces'. The President accused the opposition of controlling parliament and anti-state activities. The opposition refused to recognize the imposition of martial law and demanded its repeal. Parliament voted to repeal martial law, but military officials claim it remains in effect until the President withdraws it.
According to the new appointment, former MP Shkrum has become the first deputy minister of community and territory development. Shkrum has extensive experience in the relevant committee and received higher education abroad, as well as having substantial international experience.
The former deputy head of the Higher Economic Court was arrested after he was informed of his suspicion of involvement in a criminal organization and accepting bribes. He claims this case is a fabrication created to prevent him from engaging in legal practice.
Pseudo-activist Stakhiv, suspected of illegally disseminating locations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and fraud, was released from pre-trial detention after his supporters paid bail.
Olexiy Chernyshov has been appointed as the Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine and the Minister of National Unity. His goal is to present the ministry's development plan and his team.
