Ukrainian communities received 13 million for restoration: how the project Shoulder to Shoulder works.
According to inkorr.com: The Ministry of Community and Territorial Development reported on the continuation of cooperation among Ukrainian communities within the framework of the national project 'Shoulder to Shoulder: United Communities'.
According to the Ministry, another 13 communities in Donetsk joined the third wave of the project. A total of 49 memorandums of cooperation have been signed. Partners have already provided almost 13 million UAH for the restoration of houses, schools, shelters, and water supply systems, as well as helped internally displaced persons with food, clothing, and equipment. Some communities arranged health, cultural, and educational programs for children.
Support among communities
The Brovary City Council allocated 2 million UAH to the Derhachi community in Kharkiv region for the arrangement of the sources 'Krynytsia' and 'Rudychi'. The Kivertsiv community from Volyn transferred a generator, transformer, and pump to Trostyanets for the restoration of water supply. The Ministry of Development emphasized that such partnerships among communities contribute to improving living conditions and providing support to hard-to-reach areas.
Active cooperation for restoration
Within the framework of the national project 'Shoulder to Shoulder: United Communities', Ukrainian communities are actively helping each other, improving living conditions and restoring infrastructure.
This project demonstrates how important it is to unite efforts for a common goal — restoration and support of the territories that have suffered the most.
