From 2025, the eYasla program will be launched in Ukraine: how to receive compensation for kindergarten

According to inkorr.com: The new program 'eYasla', starting for parents of children aged 1 to 3 years, aims to simplify the lives of Ukrainian families. Its implementation is scheduled for the beginning of next year. According to available information, the initiative includes compensation for childcare expenses, allowing parents to combine work and raising their little ones.

“The funds are earmarked, so to speak, designated funds,” emphasized the minister.

Goals of the program

The main goal of the program is to support parents in returning to work after a year of childcare. The minister noted that due to a lack of kindergartens and other services, one of the parents is often forced to stay at home. The 'eYasla' initiative aims to address this problem and stimulate the development of the childcare services market.

“We want to stimulate not only the return of parents to work but also the development of the caregiving services market. If there are no kindergartens, parents can pay for a nanny. Thus, we create demand and signal to businesses and communities to develop these services,” emphasized Ulyutin.

Program implementation plan

The implementation of the program is planned for the beginning of 2025, with payments for parents being made through the 'Diya' app. The cost of childcare services will be the same for all regions of the country, and for children with special needs, the amount of compensation will double.

The 'eYasla' program aims to facilitate the combination of work and childcare, as well as support the development of the service market in Ukraine. This is intended to assist parents in returning to work after the birth of a child.
