The USA has confirmed the death of CIA Deputy Director Michael Glossa's son during the war against Ukraine. It has been noted that he died in April 2024 in the war, but it has not been disclosed on which side he participated. It is also known that Michael expressed negative views towards the USA and considered violence an inherent part of American politics. He served in the Russian army and had mental health issues. The CIA representative emphasized that Michael's death is a family matter and not a national security issue. The loss of their son was a significant blow to the Glossa family. Information about Michael's death became known in December 2024, but the cause of death was not disclosed. Zelensky informed other leaders about Putin's ambitions, the international coalition against Ukraine and the USA, as well as the future of Russia.
