Player won £14,000 on the races: how he managed to guess seven winners in a row

According to The Sun: An experienced player won £14,000 by making a "very considered" bet on the races on Saturday.

This impressive online bet included eight horses from the Haydock and Ascot cards, where a mysterious bettor guessed seven winners in a row.

Winning Bet

  • 1:15 Haydock Zeus Olympios SP 11-4 fav Won
  • 2:10 Ascot Crown Of Oaks SP 8-11 fav Won
  • 2:25 Haydock Valiancy SP 4-1 Won
  • 2:40 Ascot Native Warrior SP 100-30 fav Won
  • 3:00 Haydock The Reverend SP 7-2 fav Won
  • 3:15 Ascot Tenability SP 85-40 Won
  • 3:50 Ascot Abloom SP 2-1 fav Won
  • 4:25 Ascot Binhareer SP 3-1 3rd

Additionally, the player took advantage of a cash-out option, which significantly increased his already incredible winnings.

He placed £130 on trebles and fourfolds on eight participants, including a bet of 78 pence on each horse in an accumulator.

The first seven horses won at odds ranging from 8/11 to 4/1, including The Reverend’s victory in the Old Borough Cup at Haydock.

Had Binaheer won at 4:25 at Ascot, the total payout would have been an impressive £69,000 with a £1.56 stake on the accumulator.

However, this savvy player decided to cash out at the right moment, as Binaheer finished third, allowing him to take home £8,483.78 from the accumulator.

If he hadn’t done that, the return would have only been £4,885.98 – so his decision turned out to be exceptionally wise.

“We have seen some incredible bets, including the favorite's defeat in the Arc and the victory of Big Mojo at Haydock,” said Paddy Power representative Paul Binfield.
“But this player showed tremendous ingenuity in many aspects.”
“They combined their eight selections to win around six thousand on trebles and fours, and achieved an impressive seven winners in a row, before cashing out another eight thousand from the accumulator, which is four thousand more than if they had left the last horse in the race. Pure genius.”

Saturday proved to be profitable for players, as Betfair also faced huge payouts from the daily promotion.

One player there won an impressive £8,000 with a £25 bet.
