Putin proposed to Trump to meet with Zelensky
During a conversation with American leader Donald Trump, Russian dictator Putin proposed to hold a bilateral meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in Moscow, reports Agence France-Presse, informs FREEДОМ.
According to press secretary Caroline Levitt, Putin confirmed to Trump his readiness to meet directly with Zelensky. The Ukrainian leader, who was at the White House with European leaders at the time, declined this meeting.
According to Politico, the White House is considering Budapest as a venue for peace negotiations between Zelensky and Putin. The USA plans to hold a trilateral meeting in the capital of Hungary as the next step in negotiations to end the war.

Switzerland's Foreign Minister Ignazio Cassis announced the country’s readiness to host a meeting between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Vladimir Putin, promising the latter immunity from prosecution by the International Criminal Court.
