Putin signed a mutual defense agreement with North Korea.
Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a law on strategic partnership with North Korea, which includes provisions on mutual defense.
The upper house of Russia ratified the treaty this week, and the lower house approved it last month. The decree describing the legislative procedures appeared on November 9 on a government website.
The treaty strengthens closer ties between Moscow and Pyongyang.
At the same Time, Russia has not confirmed the presence of North Korean troops in its country.
By the way, the Kremlin is using the new agreement on comprehensive strategic partnership with North Korea to delay the need for new stages of mobilization in Russia for as long as possible.
Recall, there are 11 thousand North Korean military personnel present in the territories of Russia bordering Ukraine. Some of these troops have already participated in military actions against Ukraine. This was stated by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky at a press conference following the European Political Community summit. Currently, KPA troops are in the Kursk region.
The Russians are trying to disguise the North Korean military as much as possible, concentrating them on the territory of the Kursk region. They are carefully beginning to move them into positions around the city of Sudzha.
