President of Russia Vladimir Putin stated that he is ready for negotiations with Ukraine, but demands the cancellation of President Zelensky's decree that prohibits such negotiations. This information is reported by the Russian news agency TASS.

Putin claims that without the cancellation of the decree, any negotiations will be illegitimate. He also commented on U.S. President Donald Trump's statements regarding a possible meeting, noting that Russia is always open to such dialogues.

Such words were spoken by Putin after Trump threatened Russia with taxes, tariffs, and sanctions on its exports to the U.S. and other countries if Moscow does not end the war with Ukraine and find a path to a peace agreement.

Additionally, Trump announced an agreement with Saudi Arabia to reduce global oil prices to pressure Russia.

The U.S. President noted that he is ready for talks with Putin about the situation in Ukraine, while emphasizing that the Russian leader is harming his country by refusing to end the war in Ukraine.

Additionally, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine responded to Russia's ultimatum regarding the refusal to join NATO.
