Putin spoke about 'peace talks' with Ukraine and threatened Europe.
Russian President Vladimir Putin spoke at the Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok, where he commented on the operation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kursk region, negotiations with Ukraine, and a meeting with the founder of Telegram, Pavel Durov. According to Putin, the situation in the Kursk region has already stabilized, and Russian troops are gradually pushing Ukrainian forces out of the border territories. The dictator noted that the Armed Forces of Ukraine had deployed rather large and well-prepared units. Additionally, Putin accused Ukraine of striking the Kursk and Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plants, but provided no evidence for these claims. He also expressed the opinion that if the founder of Telegram was detained in France, then other IT platform leaders similar to Telegram should be shut down. At the same Time, Putin stated that Moscow is not refusing negotiations with Ukraine, but they should take place based on already concluded agreements. The dictator also spoke about a meeting with the founder of Telegram in Moscow many years ago, but he did not recently meet with Durov during his visit to Baku. Russia supposedly had no claims against the founder of Telegram.
