Russians launched a massive attack on Sumy region: dozens of shellings and injuries.

According to FREEДOM: The Russian army carried out a mass attack on the Sumy region overnight from August 25 to 26. Russian troops used aerial bombs and drones for shelling. More than 10 communities in the region were under fire, reports FREEДОМ.

The most shellings were recorded in the areas of Sumy and Shostka. As a result of the hits, fires broke out.

According to the Sumy regional military administration, as a result of the attacks, two women and a man were injured in the Mykolaiv and Bezdrich communities. Residential houses, schools, administrative and other buildings, as well as equipment were destroyed.

For example, due to an attack by enemy drones in Shostka, some residents were left without electricity.

During the day, Russian troops carried out 90 shellings in 31 populated areas of 15 communities in Sumy region.

It should be noted that on the same night, Russian troops attacked Ukraine using 59 strike UAVs of the Shahed type. Hits were recorded in nine locations.

Thus, Russian troops continue their aggressive actions on the territory of Ukraine, causing harm to the civilian population and infrastructure.
