The armed forces of Russia struck the Zaporizhia region, resulting in the deaths of two people and one more person injured. This was reported by the head of the regional military administration, Ivan Fedorov, as transmitted by FREEДOM.
Incident details
Among the dead are a couple, as well as a 66-year-old woman who was injured.
According to information, Russian occupiers shelled 20 settlements in the region nearly 600 times throughout the day, using artillery and strike drones.
Previous attacks
It was reported earlier that Russian occupation forces shelled settlements in the Kherson, Odesa, and Dnipropetrovsk regions on the night of August 31 and in the morning.
These events highlight the ongoing threat posed by shelling to civilians in Ukraine. Hostilities continue, and residents of the affected regions continue to suffer from the consequences of aggression. Authorities are calling for international support and seeking ways to ensure the safety of the population.
