Ramstein in London: Germany and Britain promised Ukraine new Patriots and drones.
According to inkorr.com: On September 9, the 30th meeting of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group in the 'Ramstein' format kicked off in London. The main topic of the meeting was the discussion of further military support for Ukraine.
Statements by Defense Ministers
Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksii Reznikov reported that he coordinated the agenda of the meeting with British and German colleagues, emphasizing the importance of international support to strengthen Ukraine in the face of Russian aggression.
'We still need to receive an additional 10 Patriot systems, missiles, and other equipment for air defense. This is urgent, as Russia plans further strikes on the energy and civilian infrastructure of our state,' emphasized Reznikov.
Other countries also expressed readiness to support Ukraine. The United Kingdom announced funding for the supply of kamikaze drones, while Germany is providing two complete Patriot systems and working on their rapid replacement.
'A secure Europe needs a strong Ukraine. We see Russian aggression, but this only strengthens our unity with the Ukrainians and our determination to support them,' stated the British Defense Minister.
