Van Barneveld's mishap in Germany: What happened to the dart legend.
An embarrassing incident at the 'World Grand Prix'
According to The Sun: Raymond van Barneveld admitted that during his entrance on stage at the 'World Grand Prix', he lost his balance and fell. This happened despite the fact that the five-time world champion managed to defeat Kevin Thorpman with a score of 6-3 in the dart championship in Gildesheim.
However, his performance was not particularly impressive: the player's average score was only 85.70, and he failed to hit 180. Van Barneveld later apologized to fans for not being able to hold his usual autograph sessions.
“I'm sorry for not signing autographs, but I hope you understand.”
The incident certainly caused discomfort for both Raymond and his fans. Despite this, his victory over Thorpman shows that even in difficult situations, the player is capable of achieving results. We hope that his upcoming performances will allow him to shine not only with victories but also with excellent gameplay statistics.
