The court's decision on the Real Madrid tunnel
The football club Real Madrid has received a denial from the Spanish court regarding its proposal to build a controversial tunnel near the Bernabeu stadium. Since the beginning of major changes at the arena in 2019, the team has been actively working on modernization, which will be completed in 2024.According to The Sun: The renovation costing £1.5 billion has increased the stadium's capacity to approximately 83,000 spectators and also includes the installation of a mechanical roof.
“We always strive to improve the club's infrastructure, but we will adhere to all regulations,” said the club's representatives.
Real Madrid will continue to work on the stadium, but is currently seeking new opportunities to implement its plans.
The court's decision was an important milestone in the process of modernizing the stadium. Despite the denial to construct the tunnel, the club confirmed its readiness to continue improving the Bernabeu infrastructure. This reflects Real's serious intent to enhance comfort for fans and create a modern football center.Read also
