Reebok Store Closures in Ukraine

According to Novyny.live: The Reebok sportswear and footwear chain is preparing to exit the Ukrainian market, with a final clearance sale currently underway. As of the end of February 2026, only two official Reebok stores remain open in Ukraine, both located in Kyiv. The store in the SkyMall shopping center is scheduled to cease operations on May 8, 2026. The other location, in the Retroville mall, will continue business until the end of April 2026, when its lease agreement expires.

Reebok's Financial Performance in Ukraine

Reebok's financial results in Ukraine reveal a deeply troubled operation. In 2023, the company's revenue was 148.7 million hryvnias, but it posted a significant loss of 82.4 million hryvnias. The following year, 2024, saw revenue slightly increase to 162.6 million hryvnias, yet losses nearly doubled, soaring to 153.8 million hryvnias. The situation did not improve in 2025, with revenue plummeting to 84.4 million hryvnias and a loss of 48.5 million hryvnias. These figures highlight the severe financial difficulties the brand has faced in the local market.

The decision to close its Ukrainian stores follows years of sustained losses and a lack of positive prospects for business development in the country. Customers now have a final opportunity to purchase Reebok products at the remaining stores during the ongoing liquidation sale. This exit marks another shift in Ukraine's competitive sportswear and footwear retail landscape, which has been challenging for many international brands since the full-scale invasion.

Reebok's withdrawal from Ukraine underscores the challenges international brands face in the market, particularly amid prolonged economic instability and shifting consumer patterns.

It may also point to broader industry trends where companies unable to adapt to local conditions are forced to scale back operations. For consumers, the closure presents a chance to find discounted items during the final sell-off, which should help clear remaining inventory before the stores shut their doors for good.
