Salaries of Ukrainian Footballers in Europe: Who Tops the Rankings in 2025.
According to inkorr.com: Ukrainian footballers continue to demonstrate a high level of play and salaries in leading European leagues. The autumn ranking by Capology showcases which Ukrainian players have the highest contracts in 2025. This was reported by Sport.ua.
Top-3 Ukrainian Footballers by Salary
After moving to the French club PSG, Illia Zabarnyi entered the top three highest-paid Ukrainian footballers in Europe. His contract is worth 5.45 million euros per year. Ahead of him are only Oleksandr Zinchenko from Nottingham Forest (7.237 million euros) and Artem Dovbyk, who plays for Roma (5.56 million euros).
Unexpectedly, Mykhailo Mudryk dropped out of the ranking: due to a doping scandal, his contract with Chelsea, which was set at 6.03 million euros per year, was suspended. At the same time, goalkeepers and defenders representing leading European clubs made it into the top ten highest salaries.

Outside the top 10 were Yehor Yarmolyuk from Brentford (1.507 million euros) and Ruslan Malinovskyi from Genoa (1.28 million euros). Experts note that Ukrainian footballers are increasingly being offered contracts on par with leading European players, especially after successful performances in the Champions League and at the Euro.
