M15 Odesa-Reni: Large-scale reconstruction of the key route will begin after the war.

According to inkorr.com: The State Agency for Restoration and Development of Infrastructure of Ukraine (Restoration Agency), the Agency for Support of Public-Private Partnership (PPP Agency), and the Restoration Service in Odesa Oblast have joined forces to prepare an important investment project 'Development of the M-15 Odesa – Reni road (to Bucharest)'.

Focus on the 'M-15 Odesa – Reni' project

The 'M-15 Odesa – Reni' project is a priority for implementation and included in the Unified Project Portfolio of Ukraine for 2025. It involves complete reconstruction and new construction of over 300 kilometers of road, which is part of the European route E87. It is important to note that although preparations for the project's implementation have already begun, its actual execution is only possible after the end of the war.

'The scope of work includes updating critical elements such as the bridge over the Dniester in the village of Mayaky, transport interchanges on the M-28 / M-14 routes, and dozens of other artificial structures. The successful implementation of the project is critically necessary to strengthen economic potential, enhance safety, and increase the capacity of the main logistics artery of southern Ukraine, which leads to the border with Romania.'

The State Agency for Restoration and Development of Infrastructure of Ukraine, together with other agencies, is working on the investment project for the development of the M-15 Odesa – Reni road. This project is strategically important for improving the transportation infrastructure of the country. It is planned to reconstruct and build new highways covering over 300 km, which is a key part of the international route. The implementation of this project will be significant after the conflict in the eastern part of the country is resolved, as it will strengthen economic development and security in the region.
