Traffic restrictions at the border with Romania due to bridge repair
According to inkorr.com: Traffic restrictions have been introduced at the border with Romania due to the repair of the bridge over the Tysa River. This was reported by the State Customs Service.
“According to information from the Romanian side, we inform citizens about the continuation of traffic restrictions at the border crossing point 'Solotvyno - Sighetu Marmației'. Restrictions will last for 45 days, from 09:00 to 15:30, starting from Monday, September 15, 2025,' - the service noted.
Citizens are advised to take this information into account. If you need to cross the border, use other crossing points.
It should be noted that traffic restrictions will last for 45 days to ensure safety during the repair works. Ukrainians are encouraged to use alternative border crossing points.
These restrictions will pose a serious challenge for travelers planning to cross through this border point. During the repair, which will last more than a month, it is important to be prepared for changes in routes and to consider additional time for crossing the border at other locations.
