The Russian Federation wants to push south in Ukraine - how.
Russian forces continue to pressure the south of Ukraine, particularly in the Dnipro direction. The main goal of the Russian Armed Forces at the moment is to get closer to the Antonivskiy bridges, so they can conduct more strikes on the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
This was reported by the spokesman for the UDA, Serhiy Bratchuk, during the 'Unified News' marathon.
Pressure to the south
Russian troops are trying to improve their military positions on the left bank of the Dnipro to expand their influence on the right bank. To achieve this goal, they are working to get as close as possible to the Antonivskiy bridges to facilitate attacks on the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and force them to retreat from key defensive points.
'The Antonivskiy bridges, both road and railway, are viewed by the Russian forces precisely from this perspective, to get closer to our positions and use all available firepower to pressure the right bank and try to push our units away from their current positions, preventing the enemy from acting more actively in this direction.', - said Serhiy Bratchuk.
According to the spokesman for the UDA, Russian troops are also continuously trying to attack the Dnipro islands, but so far have not had success.
Reminder, we recently wrote about the use of artificial intelligence for shooting down drones over Mykolaiv region, as well as about the tactics of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the southern front.
Russian forces are concentrating on the Dnipro direction, closer to the Antonivskiy bridges, for more effective attacks on the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, trying to eliminate Ukrainian troops from strategically important positions.
