Russia intends to carry out cyberattacks on Great Britain
According to The Telegraph, Russia plans to carry out a series of cyberattacks that could lead to power outages for millions of people. This information was confirmed by the Minister for the Cabinet Office of Great Britain, Peter MacFadden.
According to MacFadden, Russia is demonstrating extreme aggression and recklessness in cyberspace and seeks to gain a strategic advantage and undermine countries that support Ukraine.
Vladimir Putin's plans
President of Russia Vladimir Putin intends to carry out a destabilizing and exhausting cyberattack on Great Britain, which could cause serious damage to the economy and lead to power outages.
Attacks on NATO member countries
According to The Telegraph, Russian military and hackers significantly intensified their attacks last year. Among their victims were media, telecommunications companies, political and democratic institutions, as well as the energy infrastructure of Great Britain.
Other cyberattacks
