According to FREEДOM: On the night of August 26, Russian troops attacked Ukraine with 59 strike drones of the Shahed type and imitation drones of various types. This was reported citing the Command of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The launch occurred from the directions of: Kursk, Shatalovo, Bryansk, Primorsk-Akhtarsk — Russian Federation.
'According to preliminary data, as of 09:00, air defense forces shot down/suppressed 47 enemy Shahed-type drones and imitation drones of various types in the north and east of the country. 12 drones were recorded hitting nine locations,' the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported.
We remind you that on the night of August 24, the armed forces of the Russian Federation struck the Sumy and Zaporizhzhia regions. There are injuries and destruction of houses and farm buildings.
