According to Novyny.live: A February 2026 study by OLX Work reveals that skilled trades dominate the list of highest-paying jobs in Ukraine, particularly in auto repair, construction, manufacturing, and logistics. According to the data, average salaries in these fields have risen significantly compared to February 2025.
Among the top earners are dentists, with an average salary of 150,000 hryvnias—a 20% increase year-over-year. Notable wage growth is also seen in the auto service sector:
- Panel beaters now earn an average of 70,000 hryvnias, up 27% from February 2025.
- Auto painters make 60,000 hryvnias, a 17% rise.
- Auto electricians also earn 60,000 hryvnias, representing a 33% jump from last February.
In construction, facade workers average 67,500 hryvnias—up 15%—while plasterers earn 66,300 hryvnias, a 13% increase. Bricklayers receive an average of 65,000 hryvnias, a 30% rise compared to February 2025.
In logistics, long-haul truck drivers average 60,000 hryvnias, also up 33% from the previous year:
- Painters earn 37,500 hryvnias, a 42% increase.
- Electricians make 38,800 hryvnias, up 41%.
- General laborers earn 37,500 hryvnias, a 9% rise year-over-year.
Sales managers have an average salary of 38,000 hryvnias—up 38% from February 2025—while mechanics earn 45,000 hryvnias, a 14% increase. Drivers earn 42,500 hryvnias, a 16% rise compared to last year.
The OLX Work data highlights positive trends in Ukraine's labor market, where rising wages in skilled trades may signal economic recovery and a growing demand for workers.
Overall, Ukraine is seeing salary increases across many skilled trades, especially in auto service and construction, reflecting an increasing need for qualified professionals in the job market.
