The anniversary of the rocket strike on Vinnytsia - chronology and consequences.
Today marks the third anniversary of the rocket strike on Vinnytsia, which occurred in 2022. At that time, Russian forces attacked the city center, resulting in nearly 30 deaths, including children.
According to information from Novyny.LIVE, the rocket strike on Vinnytsia took place on July 14, 2022, at 10:45 AM Kyiv time. As a result of the enemy shelling, 27 people were killed, 202 were injured, and another 8 individuals are still missing. The tragedy claimed the lives of children, adding more bitterness to the situation. The following day, a day of mourning was declared in the city and region.
Consequences of the rocket strike in Vinnytsia
On July 16, 2022, it became known that 27 people had died during the strike, including three children. About 202 people sought medical assistance, of which 117 underwent outpatient treatment, and 80 were hospitalized, with more than half in serious condition. Another 8 individuals are considered missing.
One of the three children who died was 4-year-old Liza Dmitrieva. Her mother sustained serious injuries and underwent surgery. Liza, in a video by Olena Zelenska, was part of a family that decided to move from Kyiv to Vinnytsia after the capital was shelled.
It is important to remember the tragic consequences of the rocket strike in Vinnytsia in 2022 when countless innocent lives were lost, including children, and many families became victims of this tragedy.
