According to UATV: On March 22, 2023, Russian forces launched more than 30 attacks against the Dnipropetrovsk region, resulting in the deaths of two individuals. Oleksandr Hanzha reported that these strikes caused extensive damage across the area.
Damage and Consequences of the Strikes
Three districts were targeted: Nikopol, Dnipro, and Kryvyi Rih. In the Nikopol district, several enterprises and a private home were damaged, and a car was burned. The Dnipro district also saw a vehicle catch fire. In Kryvyi Rih, the attacks damaged the grounds of infrastructure facilities.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that over the past week, Russia unleashed 1,550 attack drones, more than 1,200 guided aerial bombs, and two missiles against Ukraine. These figures highlight an escalation in the conflict and serious threats to civilians in Ukraine. The ongoing assaults underscore the intensifying violence faced by communities in the region.
