Russia attacked Kramatorsk with 'Tornado-S' and FAB: one police officer killed, 8 people injured.
Attack on Kramatorsk
According to UATV: On January 14, 2023, the Russian army attacked Kramatorsk in the Donetsk region using the 'Tornado-S' multiple launch rocket systems and FAB aerial bombs. As a result of this attack, one person, an engineer from the logistics sector of the Mariupol inter-district police department in Donetsk region, Ivan Sadovsky, was killed. Eight other civilians were injured.
The attack took place in Kramatorsk and struck ten localities in the region. Among the victims were civilians who became victims of hostile actions. A FAB-250 aerial bomb was dropped on the private sector of Kramatorsk, leading to destruction and human casualties.
Memory of Ivan Sadovsky
Local residents remember the fallen Ivan Sadovsky. One of them, Yevgeny, expressed his thoughts about him:
“Uncle Vanya, but he was quiet”. Another local added:
“He was a wonderful person. I always enjoyed talking to him. It’s a pity”. These testimonies highlight how important and respected Ivan was in his community.
This tragedy reflects the ongoing conflict in eastern Ukraine, which continues to cause suffering for the civilian population. Attacks on civilian objects indicate the seriousness of the situation in the region, where residents are forced to live under constant threat. The loss of Ivan Sadovsky, who was a respected member of the community, emphasizes how war affects personal lives and connections among people.
