Zaporizhzhia Comes Under Attack
According to UATV: On February 15, 2023, Russian military forces launched an attack on the city of Zaporizhzhia and the surrounding region. The strike, which hit a residential neighborhood, resulted in three civilians being wounded. Among the injured were two women, aged 69 and 52, who sustained their injuries during the assault on the Zarechny district. A single-story residential building was completely destroyed in the attack.
The explosion also caused significant damage to more than 20 private houses, leading to serious destruction across the area. The Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration confirmed that all necessary medical assistance is being provided to the victims. The city of Zaporizhzhia, home to a major nuclear power plant, has been a frequent target since the invasion began.
