Key Events in Lviv
Notably, on June 29, a severe storm hit Lviv, during which lightning struck a six-year-old child. The girl is currently in intensive care, with her condition reported as stable. Additionally, on June 30, Lviv’s Market Square hosted the 85th anniversary of the proclamation of the Act of Restoration of the Ukrainian State. A significant historical event was the arrest of Stepan Bandera and Yaroslav Stetsko following the Act’s announcement.
The national energy system remains under strain, making such restrictions a likely routine during periods of high demand.
