The occupying Russian forces do not seem to have enough resources for a simultaneous offensive in several directions, particularly in Pokrovsk, Kostiantynivka, and Kupiansk. Ukrainian serviceman Kyrylo Sazonov reported this on the air of Ranok.LIVE.

According to him, the situation is different from a year ago, when Russian troops were able to attack in several sections of the front. 'They do not have enough strength to simultaneously advance in several directions as they did a year ago. They are throwing everything they have in every direction,' Sazonov noted.

He added that currently the Russians lack the resources to 'press simultaneously on Pokrovsk, Kostiantynivka, and Kupiansk.' Even Russian propaganda channels acknowledge problems with the composition of troops, particularly with assault troops and infantry, although they try to explain this by the successes of Ukrainian forces.

According to the military, despite the depletion of reserves and fatigue, the Kremlin remains committed to its strategic goals. 'They have not given up on capturing all of Ukraine,' he emphasized. The main goal currently is the occupation of four Ukrainian regions, particularly the complete capture of Donetsk.

This direction is strategically important for the occupiers, as success there will help them 'cut off logistics for the entire Donetsk grouping' of Ukrainian forces. Sazonov estimates that an attempt to capture the main agglomeration of Donetsk through a direct offensive from the south could take years.

Earlier, British intelligence assessed the pace of the Russian offensive in Ukraine.
