Russia and the USA are close to a diplomatic resolution of the war: what is known.
Possible diplomatic resolution of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict
According to inkorr.com: Special representative of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, Kirill Dmitriev, believes that the USA, Russia, and Ukraine are approaching a diplomatic solution that could lead to the end of the war. This was reported by Reuters. Dmitriev noted that the meeting between Trump and Putin, which was postponed, may take place in the future, although the summit this week was canceled due to Russia's indecisiveness to quickly end the conflict. Trump believes that the cancellation of the meeting is related to the lack of progress in negotiations.
Searching for a peaceful path
Despite this, Dmitriev emphasizes that the end of the war based on diplomacy is possible. In his opinion, Ukrainian President Zelensky has made an important step by agreeing on the definition of the front lines. He stresses the need to continue the dialogue between the USA and Russia, taking into account the interests of both sides.
'I believe that Russia, the USA, and Ukraine are indeed very close to a diplomatic solution,' he said.
Dmitriev also declined to comment on the details of meetings in the USA and noted that American sanctions may lead to an increase in fuel prices at American gas stations.
Earlier, Zelensky and Starmer expressed their thoughts on Putin's winter plans.
The Russian representative emphasized that the process of diplomatic resolution of the conflict is progressing, but there is still the problem of insufficient progress in the agreements to organize a meeting between the leaders of the countries. The Ukrainian president has received recognition for agreeing on the front lines, which could be an important step towards resolving the conflict.
The development of diplomatic initiatives between Russia, the USA, and Ukraine indicates efforts aimed at achieving peace. Although progress may be slow, Dmitriev's recent statements raise hope for the possibility of restoring dialogue. It is important for all parties to continue working towards finding common solutions that can help stop the conflict.Read also
