Russia has put forward new peace conditions to the USA: what the Kremlin demands from Ukraine.
According to inkorr.com: The Russian side has presented its demands to the United States for achieving a peace agreement with Ukraine, requiring control over all of Donbass and the absence of NATO troops on Ukrainian territory. This jeopardizes the idea of US President Donald Trump about concluding a peace treaty.
'This position effectively excludes the vision of US President Donald Trump that the frontline should be fixed in its current state,' emphasizes an American official.
So far, the White House has not commented on the Russian conditions, noting that Trump has not yet decided whether to meet with Putin. The US President believes it would be appropriate to cease fire along existing front lines.
The possibility of a meeting between Trump and Putin
Trump and Putin reached a preliminary agreement on a meeting in Hungary, but specific plans for the summit 'in the near future' are currently absent. The meeting is expected to take place within a few weeks.
Russia has once again confirmed its demands for a peace agreement with Ukraine, which contradicts the positions of the US President. Despite the possibility of a meeting between Trump and Putin, there are currently no specific actions planned for the immediate future. We will follow the developments and further steps that the parties may take.
