Russians launched 118 Shaheds at night: Air Defense shot down 103 drones.
According to inkorr.com: On the night of October 12, Russian troops carried out a massive attack on Ukraine, using 118 strike drones Shahed, imitation drones, and one guided missile X-31. The attack started at 20:00 on October 11 from various directions, including from Kursk, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, and the temporarily occupied Crimea.
According to the information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, by the morning of October 12, Ukrainian defense forces managed to destroy or suppress 103 enemy drones in the north, east, and south of Ukraine. Air defense was provided by anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, drones, and mobile fire groups.
Combat actions across the territory
One missile and 15 strike drones were recorded hitting 10 different points. As of the morning, the attack continued; new groups of strike drones appeared in the north and east of Ukraine.
In the Southern Slobozhanshchyna direction, 15 combat clashes took place in the areas of Vovchansk, Odradniy, Zapadniy, Kutikivka, as well as in the direction of Obukhivka, Bologivka, Dvorichanske, and Kolodiazne. In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy conducted 12 attacks on the positions of the Ukrainian troops in the areas of Kupiansk, Petropavlivka, Nova Kruhlyakivka, and Stepova Nova Selyvka, with three combat clashes continuing until the evening.
In the Lyman direction, Russian troops attacked Ukrainian defenders 13 times in the areas of Shandryholove, Derylovy, Kolodiazi, Kopanka, Karpivka, Drobysheve, Torskoye, and in the direction of Lyman. Two combat clashes continued until the evening.
