Russian missile strikes have led to power outages: which regions are affected.
Attacks on energy facilities have caused power outages in Ukraine
According to inkorr.com: Recent hours in Ukraine have been marked by missile and drone strikes on energy facilities, resulting in significant power outages for consumers in Donetsk, Kyiv, and Odesa regions. This has been reported by 'Glavcom', citing 'Ukrenergo'.
Currently, energy companies are working on emergency rescue operations in all affected regions. They are making every effort to quickly restore the operation of damaged facilities and resume electricity supply for the population.
As part of the electricity supply restrictions
Due to previous attacks, restrictions on electricity consumption continue to be in place in most regions of Ukraine. They are designed for two to four-hour shifts until the end of the day, with the heaviest load during evening hours. For cities with hourly power outages, schedules for limiting capacity for industrial and commercial consumers have also been approved.
‘Today, electricity consumption shows a 4.8% decrease compared to the same time on Thursday, November 14. This trend is related to clear weather in most regions, ensuring the effective operation of solar power plants and reducing electricity consumption,’ emphasizes 'Ukrenergo'.
On Friday, November 14, many regions of Ukraine will again implement hourly electricity outages. The blackout schedules will be active around the clock – from 00:00 to 23:59, including breaks lasting from two to four hours.
Ukraine continues to face a crisis with electricity due to enemy attacks on the energy infrastructure, leading to large power outages and restrictions for the population and businesses. Electricity consumption is decreasing, and energy companies are trying to return the system to normal and provide services to their clients.
The situation in the energy sector remains tense. Restrictions on electricity consumption are intended to reduce the load on the system; however, the issue with energy resources has not yet been completely resolved. Energy workers urge the population to adhere to consumption schedules to help stabilize the situation in the country.
