Russia increases production of military equipment and weapons, bypassing sanctions - Zelensky.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that in Russia, plants producing military equipment and weapons are increasing their production, bypassing sanctions. This was reported by a correspondent of 'Glavkom'.
In Russia, for example, there are 30 key Soviet plants producing various weapons and equipment, and they are increasing their production, bypassing sanctions. In Europe, in the European Union, there are, I think, about 42 plants. In 2024, Russia produced less than Europe. And Ukraine received less than Russia.
Zelensky added that Ukraine needs quick decisions from its partners, as it is receiving less armament than Russia:
So Europe has launched its whole organism, producing one and a half times more than Russia, and Ukraine received less than Russia. This is 2024. We need quick decisions - now, not later. Because later will be harder. These 30 plants will work at full capacity and will produce as much or more than Europe. By 2025, Russia will have even more. We look at North Korea, Iran, which also actively produce and supply weapons to Russia. It is all very dangerous and leads to world polarization.
Earlier, Volodymyr Zelensky announced the main points of Ukraine's 'victory plan'. According to him, the Kharkiv operation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is part of the second point of the plan.
Zelensky also stated that at the beginning of November, the 'victory plan' will be fully prepared.
In addition, the President of Ukraine announced that his meeting with US presidential candidate Donald Trump will take place on September 26-27. Volodymyr Zelensky added that it will be important for both sides.
It is worth mentioning that Volodymyr Zelensky plans to meet with US presidential candidate Kamala Harris and find out her opinion on the 'victory plan'. He added that it is currently important to communicate with all presidential candidates regarding the 'victory plan'.
