Russia has changed its tactics of strikes on Ukraine's energy infrastructure: what is known.
Russia has intensified strikes on Ukraine's energy infrastructure, changing its tactics and focusing on specific objects in the regions instead of massive attacks across the entire energy system. This was stated by the head of the board of 'Ukrenergo' Vitaliy Zaichenko during a meeting with ambassadors from the G7 countries.
Protective Structures and Further Support
According to inkorr.com: Zaichenko noted that most substations are already equipped with protective structures that have proven effective during shelling. However, work to improve security continues, and the company continues to finance them through grants and loans. 'We are grateful for the help we have already received, but today continued support is needed not only for 'Ukrenergo' but for the entire Ukrainian energy sector,' emphasized the company’s leader.
Russia has adapted its attack tactics, focusing on specific objects of energy infrastructure. The management of 'Ukrenergo' has confirmed that substations are protected, but to ensure the stability of the entire energy system of Ukraine, additional support is needed.
The increase in the intensity of attacks on energy facilities underscores the importance of international support for Ukraine. The protection of substations gives hope for stability, but without active help from partners, the situation may remain tense. At a crucial moment, support from the G7 countries can be decisive for Ukraine's energy security.
