One printing facility was hit particularly hard: on July 19, it lost more than 400,000 school textbooks. The attack completely obliterated warehouse spaces and entire print runs of educational materials, destroying over 410,000 textbook copies.

Serhiy Koretsky emphasized that “Russia is systematically destroying Ukrainian book publishing.”

The prime minister also assured that “even with limited budget resources, the state will find a way to support the Ukrainian book.” This signals the government’s commitment to restoring the publishing industry and safeguarding Ukraine’s cultural heritage.
