Ukraine to Receive UK's Stone Cloak Technology for Countering Russian Air Defenses.

According to UATV: During a meeting aboard the HMS Queen Elizabeth in Portsmouth, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and the UK's new Prime Minister Andy Burnham agreed to transfer Stone Cloak production technology to Ukraine. This system will enable Ukrainian forces to shield their drones from Russian air defense systems. The gathering also provided an opportunity for the two leaders to interact with Ukrainian service members participating in the Sea Breeze exercises.

Technology Transfer Deepens Military Cooperation

Since the onset of the full-scale war, the United Kingdom has committed over €29 billion in military aid to Ukraine. Prime Minister Burnham underscored Britain’s ongoing commitment, stating:

“We will support you on the path to a full and unconditional ceasefire.”

President Zelenskyy highlighted the strategic value of the drone technology deal, remarking:

“The drone agreement, in my view, holds enormous importance for our bilateral relations.”

This initiative reflects the deepening partnership between the UK and Ukraine in military technology. By providing the Stone Cloak system, Britain aims to enhance the survivability of Ukrainian drones—a critical asset on the modern battlefield.
