Russian forces attacked Odesa region with drones: energy facility damaged.
According to inkorr.com: Last night, Russian troops again attacked the southern part of the Odesa region using strike drones. The chief representative of the Odesa regional military administration, Oleg Kiper, confirmed this information.
Despite the active work of the air defense, enemy drones caused damage to energy facilities, particularly a solar power station.
Response Measures
Fortunately, fires caused by the attack were quickly extinguished by the State Emergency Service operatives, and no human casualties were reported.
In the shelling zone, measures were taken to protect local residents and critical facilities, including the introduction of backup power.
History of Previous Attacks
At night on November 13, the city of Artsiz in the Odesa region also came under attack from Russian troops using strike drones. This was reported by the Odesa regional prosecutor's office.
As a result of previous attacks, critical infrastructure and administrative buildings were damaged, however, there were no casualties among the civilian population.
The situation in the southern Odesa region remains tense, with constant shelling by Russian troops and damage to civilian and energy facilities. However, thanks to the quick response of the SES and protective measures taken, it has been possible to avoid human losses and respond promptly to the consequences of the attacks.
These events highlight the constant threat to the civilian population and infrastructure of the region, as well as the importance of the readiness of emergency response services. The recent attacks have once again confirmed how crucial it is to be prepared and to have backup systems in place to ensure the safety of the population. Each such incident serves as a reminder of the seriousness of the situation in Ukraine and the need to unite efforts to protect the country.
