Five Injured in Russian Strike on Farm in Ukraine’s Sumy Region; Woman Hospitalized.
Deadly Strike Hits Agricultural Facility in Sumy District
According to UATV: On June 12, Russian forces launched an attack on a farm located in the Sumy district, leaving five workers wounded. One victim, a 51-year-old woman, sustained severe burns and was rushed to the hospital for emergency care. The incident took place within the Sadovska community, where the assault also resulted in casualties among livestock—some animals were killed, while others were injured.
Local Official Speaks Out on the Attack
Oleh Hryhorov, head of the local administration, addressed the situation, confirming that the woman suffered critical burns and was promptly hospitalized.
“Medical staff are providing all necessary assistance,” Hryhorov stated.The other four employees received on-site medical treatment and did not require hospitalization.
This attack highlights the persistent dangers faced by civilians in regions under fire. Strikes on farming operations not only harm people but also deal a heavy blow to the agricultural sector, potentially threatening Ukraine’s food security.
