Russian troops have been shelling Kostiantynivka for many hours

Since early morning, Russian troops have been shelling Kostiantynivka in the Donetsk region. This was reported by the head of the city military administration, Serhiy Horbunov.

“Since the beginning of the day on August 22, Russian inhumans have conducted a series of shellings of the city of Kostiantynivka. The attacks lasted for several hours and caused significant damage to civilian infrastructure,” Horbunov noted.

Occupiers used strike FPV drones and FAB-250 type aerial bombs. The Russians damaged over 20 apartment buildings, gas pipelines, a shopping center, and utility structures. The gas supply to the city has been halted. A total of 66 facilities have been damaged. There is information about one injured person.

It should be noted that the city is about 8 km away from the front line. Despite the danger, approximately 7,000 civilians remain there.

Let us remind you that on the night of August 22, the Russian army attacked the territory of Ukraine with 55 strike drones of the Shahed type and various imitation drones.
