Change of tactics by Russian troops in Kostiantynivka

According to inkorr.com: After setbacks in Chasiv Yar and Toretsk, Russian troops are trying to find new ways to achieve success in Kostiantynivka. They are focused on capturing small villages leading to the city.

This was stated by the spokesperson of the Joint Forces Operation 'Dnipro', Viktor Tregubov, in a television broadcast.

Tregubov noted that the Russians' plans towards Chasiv Yar and Toretsk have collapsed, complicating their further actions in the direction of Kostiantynivka.

'These were failures that made it impossible for them to simply move to Kostiantynivka as they had hoped,' explained the spokesperson.

New tactics and attempts to capture settlements

Russian troops are also changing their approaches. 'They are trying to capture several small settlements on the way to the city. But our troops are already demonstrating resistance,' Tregubov noted.

Regarding the situation around Kostiantynivka and the village of Stupochky, the spokesperson said that the Russians are 'trying to maneuver' and 'focus their attention on small settlements' to establish a foothold for future actions.

'But currently, it doesn’t seem to be very successful for them,' he added.

Tregubov emphasized that the situation remains tense for both sides of the conflict.

Thus, in the offensive on Kostiantynivka, Russian troops are adapting their actions in the face of Ukrainian resistance, continuing clashes on the battlefield.
