Russian Strikes on Energy System: Where and How Long Will Power Outages Last.
According to inkorr.com: As a result of strikes on energy facilities, consumers in several regions have been left without electricity supply. According to information from 'Ukrenergo', Russian attacks inflicted serious damage to the energy infrastructure, leading to numerous outages. Emergency repair works are currently ongoing in all regions where damage to electrical networks has been recorded.
'Due to the complex situation in the energy system caused by the consequences of previous Russian shelling, emergency hourly disconnection schedules have been imposed in several regions of Ukraine today from 08:00 to 22:00, with disconnections ranging from 1 to 2 tiers. In the same regions where hourly disconnection schedules are in effect, power limitation schedules for industrial consumers are also applied from 07:00 to 22:00'
Electricity consumption remains high, especially due to cloudy weather, which complicates the operation of solar power plants.
Settlements Remain Without Electricity Due to Weather Conditions
Today, 30 settlements in the Dnipropetrovsk region remain without electricity due to difficult weather conditions and strong gusts of wind. Emergency repair works are ongoing, and it is expected that electricity supply will be restored by the end of the day.
The situation with electricity supply in Ukraine has worsened due to hostile actions that led to outages in various regions of the country. Bad weather in the Dnipropetrovsk region has also caused power outages in many settlements. Ukrainian energy workers are making every effort to restore electricity supply and hope for a successful resolution of the issue in the near future.
