Dead and Wounded After Russian Strikes Hit Zaporizhzhia and Dnipropetrovsk Regions.
Strikes Target Zaporizhzhia and Dnipropetrovsk Areas
According to UATV: Russian attacks on the Zaporizhzhia and Dnipropetrovsk regions have left multiple people dead, others injured, and caused damage to infrastructure and residential buildings. On March 28, one man was killed and two others were wounded in the Zaporizhzhia district. Over the course of a single day, Russian forces carried out 760 strikes across 44 settlements in Zaporizhzhia Oblast, leading to widespread destruction.
Following these attacks, authorities received 48 reports of damage to infrastructure, homes, vehicles, and farm buildings. The enemy launched more than 30 assaults on three districts in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, using drones and artillery. In Kryvyi Rih, a drone attack killed two people and injured two others. These incidents are part of the ongoing escalation of hostilities in Ukraine.
Attacks on Donetsk Region
On March 27, Russian forces also struck civilian areas in Donetsk Oblast, killing one man and wounding six others. The situation across these regions remains tense, and infrastructure damage continues to severely disrupt daily life for local residents.
These attacks underscore the persistent military operations and rising violence in Ukraine, with grave consequences for civilians. Damaged infrastructure not only causes immediate harm but also limits access to essential services and resources—a critical issue during wartime. The affected areas remain under extreme pressure, raising alarm among local communities and the international community.
