Tatyana Tarasova spoke out against the inclusion of figure skaters in the 'Myrotvorets' database

According to inkorr.com: Honored coach of the USSR Tatyana Tarasova sharply criticized the decision to include Russian figure skaters Adelia Petrosyan and Alina Gorbachova in the database of the 'Myrotvorets' resource. As noted by 'Glavkom', Tarasova called this decision absurd.

Petrosyan, who is preparing for the Olympic Games, and Gorbachova, a substitute player, were included in the 'Myrotvorets' list. Previously, Petr Humenik and Vladislav Dikidji were also included in the list.

"What kind of website is this, where they include our outstanding athletes and wonderful children and want to deprive them of work? They have been working since childhood and will defend the honor of their Motherland. What does it matter to us what they write there? We know who we are. It wouldn't be enough for them to touch our people, our country, which we love, where we grew up, where we live and will be buried. Crazy people. They do not fear God," declared Tarasova.

The 2026 Olympics is scheduled from February 6 to 22 in Milan and Cortina d'Ampezzo.

Oleksandra Sayutina at Putin's address

Russian speed skater Oleksandra Sayutina, who is recognized as a neutral athlete by the International Skating Union (ISU), also participated in the annual address of the President of Russia Vladimir Putin to the Federal Assembly.

On February 29, 2024, Sayutina attended this event, which sparked discussions in sports circles.

Veronika Stepanova, another supporter of Putin, posted a photo on Instagram featuring Sayutina at this propaganda event.

Other participants who supported the president, including military personnel involved in aggression against Ukraine, could also be seen in the video broadcast.

Such participation is a violation of the recommendations of the International Olympic Committee regarding neutral athletes.

Tatyana Tarasova spoke out against the inclusion of Russian figure skaters in the 'Myrotvorets' database, urging not to limit athletes' opportunities. At the same time, Oleksandra Sayutina's presence at the address to the Federal Assembly highlights the complexities of the relationship between sports and politics.
