Russian troops actively use training grounds in the occupied territory of Ukraine.
The Russians are actively using training grounds in the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine, said Serhiy Bratchuk, spokesperson for the Ukrainian Volunteer Army "South".
"The training grounds located in the temporarily occupied territory are never left empty. They only clear out when our Defense Forces strike them. And these strikes are very effective. Some time will pass, and the grounds will fill up again with fresh "cannon fodder"", he said on the FREEДОМ TV channel.
According to the spokesperson, this concerns the internal reserves of the Russian army, not those additionally arriving.
"In other words, the enemy is trying to use its internal reserves to bypass our defenses. Yes, preparations are underway, storm groups are being formed. I believe, first of all, this concerns Velyka Novosilka; these forces could be used in this direction. Accordingly, they can be transferred to the Kurakhiv direction to increase pressure on the settlement and attempt to capture it from the Russian Federation side. Therefore, in the coming days, we will see where the enemy has decided and what he plans to do, as he is indeed trying to find weak spots in our Zaporizhzhia defense. But he is failing and, hopefully, will continue to fail," said Bratchuk.
