B-2 Spirit bombers carried out the longest mission since 2001, and the head of the Pentagon called this strike historic. Three sites in Iran suffered significant damage.

Hegseth stressed that the operation does not aim to change the regime in Iran, only precision strikes. In addition, he warned that any strike from Iran would be met with a much stronger response.
