The Ground Forces revealed the details of the Russian strike on the Armed Forces training ground.
A powerful strike occurred at the training ground of the mechanized brigades of the Armed Forces, likely by an Iskander-M missile, resulting in injuries among the military personnel. The tragedy prompted the resignation of the commander of the Ground Forces, Mykhailo Drapatyi.
“According to preliminary information, there was a strike by an Iskander-M missile. This is a temporary training ground, it is not permanent, and people do not stay there constantly, they do not live there,” said the spokesman for the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces, Vitaliy Sarantsev.
Temporary training grounds are used for conducting safety drills and adhering to military disciplines. However, some military personnel, violating the rules, suffered due to the strike on the training ground.
Mykhailo Drapatyi explained his resignation: “As the commander, I was unable to fully ensure the execution of my orders. I did not press hard enough, did not convince, did not change the attitude towards the person in line. This is my responsibility.”
Thus, the tragic incident at the training ground resulted in injuries among military personnel and the resignation of the commander, who took responsibility for the tragedy.
